![]() Actually, no matter what Activision does at this point it might make people upset, whether the stand-alone is cheaper, the same price or more expensive. ![]() That would still be a reasonable price for a full remaster of a modern shooter classic, though it would likely upset gamers. I wrote about this before, noting how at this point in the controversial remaster's life, Activision is going to anger gamers no matter what they do:Īctivision could easily price a "Definitive" stand-alone at $40, making the bundled Infinite Warfare deal the cheaper option. If they did, customers who bought the bundle would feel ripped off. ![]() You could get the remaster for $20 on top of the $60 Infinite Warfare, or for free (basically) if you bought the $100 Collector's Edition which came with both the remaster and the season pass (which costs $50 if you buy it separately.) But bundled prices are always cheaper, and there was no way Activision would release a $20 standalone. That sticker price is sure to upset gamers, but it's no surprise.
